The Blithewood Mansion was once filled with beautiful flowers from its own greenhouses many decades ago; arrangements need beautiful flowers and artful design to create the wow factor – come learn how to create a stunning arrangement with Colin Stark from Stark Blooms!
Join us for an enjoyable afternoon filled with flowers, where Colin Stark, from Stark Blooms, will share some essential floral design principles. The setting is the magnificent Blithewood Mansion, considered a fine example of the great estates during the Gilded Age.
Colin will demonstrate how to create a centerpiece while explaining his fundamental design philosophy and principles. Then, it’s your turn to design your own lush centerpiece! You’ll receive personalized support and guidance throughout the entire process, and you’ll have access to a wide variety of flowers to choose from. Feel free to come alone or bring friends along—everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
After the workshop, take a stroll through the beautiful Italianate gardens that date back to 1903.
Our goal is to empower you to express your creativity using flowers and enjoy an afternoon in a beautiful, historic setting where flowers once adorned the place.
We want you to feel confident in purchasing a bundle of flowers from a local farm or grocery store and creating something beautiful. No prior experience is necessary!
